Lucky 8 Mobile Detailing collects information needed to provide mobile detailing services, manage appointments, process payments, communicate with customers, and operate the Lucky 8 app and booking website.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, vehicle information, service address, appointment details, booking source, and payment status. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Lucky 8.
Location information
When a detailer marks a job En Route, the app may use the detailer's location to provide live arrival tracking for the customer assigned to that appointment. Live tracking is intended to stop and stored tracking coordinates are cleared when the job is no longer En Route.
How we use information
We use information to provide and manage services, prevent scheduling conflicts, process deposits and balances, provide live job updates, send service-related communications, maintain security, and understand booking-link performance.
Service providers
Lucky 8 uses service providers including Supabase for application infrastructure, Stripe for payment processing, Google Maps Platform for routing, Apple Maps for map display on iOS, and hosting providers for the public booking site.
Sharing
We do not sell customer personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service or when required by law.
Retention and security
We retain information for legitimate business, accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes. We use access controls and server-side protections designed to limit unauthorized access.
Your choices
You may decline optional notifications and location permissions through device settings. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable by contacting Lucky 8 Mobile Detailing through the business contact method published in the app or booking page.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
